The Minecraft launcher for mods, friends and cosmetics
Asto Client starts Minecraft, manages your profiles and brings along everything you need around it: mods, shaders, friends, cosmetics, recordings and your own servers.
What is Asto Client?
Asto Client is a Minecraft launcher for Windows and Linux. It starts Minecraft (Java Edition and Bedrock) and manages profiles, mods, shaders and resource packs in one place. On top there is a client inside the game with useful displays and tools.
The launcher is free. For Minecraft Java Edition you need your own Minecraft account; Asto is not an official Minecraft product and is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
What the launcher can do
- Profiles with Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt
- Mod browser for mods, shaders and resource packs, with updates
- Modpacks from Modrinth as their own profile and an optimized Asto pack
- Friends with status, joining with one click and a profile card
- Cosmetics: coloured names, capes, badges, switchable live
- Edit screenshots and recordings, share clips
- Online backup and sync between PCs
- Import from CurseForge, LabyMod, Badlion, NoRisk and Lunar
- Server finder and your own Minecraft servers
- Crash help with one click
The client in the game
The Asto client in the game shows FPS, ping, coordinates and the durability of your gear, offers zoom, fullbright, waypoints and a freecam, shows with block info what your crosshair points at, and shows saturation on the hunger bar. Everything can be switched on and off individually.
Windows and Linux
Asto runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and on Linux as an AppImage or .deb package. The launcher keeps itself up to date, either on the stable or the beta channel.
